Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, old boleros, as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves the opera and tango genres as well as any form of dramatic performance. Her mother teaches her how to sing, but she started intensive singing lessons with Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when Belcerra was an internationally acclaimed Mexican opera Tenor. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. Her early professional career was spent performing with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. In 2000 she moved into in the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007, she settled in her current home in Southern California. She's a regular solo performer at private parties and events and performs classical Latin American Music. Passion and enthusiasm for art, music, and performing has her involved with a variety of local initiatives as a performer and teacher. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher of the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to Inland Master Chorale members for the permission to sing classic Latin American song.
